Airborne Battle Wheels Oosterbeek

The J.P. Heijestichting has graciously allowed us to use the field in front of their main building again.
(see map for the exact location) The slightly sloping field in view of the Utrechtseweg is very well suited for our camp.

The organization will try to set up a busy schedule, but with still enough time for the social aspect of our meeting.

Friday afternoon: Under construction.

Saturday morning: Parachute Jump on Ginkel heath.

On Saturday afternoon the spectacular “Race to the bridge” which traditionally ends with a display of vehicles, equipment and men around museum Hartenstein. (expected arrival 15:30)

On Sunday we participate in the commemoration at the Airborne cemetery and in the afternoon ABWO and several other re-enactment groups start their historical march through Arnhem and Oosterbeek.

To show our gratitude for the use of the campsite we make a tour with the inhabitants of the J.P. Heije stichting on Sunday morning.
